Bastards is an artists’ book designed by myself and Fraser Muggeridge Studio on the occasion of my exhibition Tongue Tied at Matt’s Gallery. The book, initially written in one session as an act of personal catharsis, asks the reader not to look away but instead to linger within its pages, inhabit the book and be a witness to its words. My text was published in solidarity with all survivors of the abuse of power.
